“We have been blessed with great clients and a good business in 2012, and we felt it was absolutely necessary to give back to our community that supports us.  These four charities share our common goals and beliefs of recognition, gratitude and helping those Veterans in need.  They also have a local focus, so we were more than happy to financially support them.” – Peter Van Brady

Operation Gratitude-

“Operation Gratitude annually sends 100,000 care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. Service Members deployed in hostile regions, to their children left behind and to Wounded Warriors, Veterans and First Responders. Our mission is to lift morale, bring a smile to a service member’s face and express to our Armed Forces the appreciation and support of the American people. Each package contains donated product valued at $75-100 and costs the organization $15 to assemble and ship. For safety and security, assembling of packages occurs at the Army National Guard armory in Van Nuys, California. Since its inception in 2003, Operation Gratitude volunteers have shipped more than 815,000 packages to American Military members.-

Support The Enlisted Project (STEP)

“Southern California is home to the largest concentration of active duty military and their family members in the world. It is also a region with one of the Nation’s highest cost of living indexes.  STEP was established to be a local source for Southern California’s junior enlisted families to turn to when unexpected financial hardship or crisis strikes, and to provide assistance to service members transitioning back into civilian life.” –

Park Semperfi-

“Dedicated to the Marine Corps, Park Semper Fi is a small, hilltop park adjacent to Parque Del Mar that overlooks the pier. A tall, bronze statue of a Marine standing at attention and saluting looks out over the ocean and San Clemente Pier. To his left is a plaque bearing the names of Marines killed in battle, and the park — landscaped with flowers and plantings by the San Clemente Garden Club — has become a memorial for local families who have lost their husbands, sons, daughters, wives, brothers or sisters to war.”

Injured Marine Semperfi Fund-

“The Semper Fi Fund (SFF) provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs. Our program provides support in a variety of ways including Service Member and Family Support, Specialized & Adaptive Equipment, Adaptive Housing, Adaptive Transportation, Education and Career Transition Assistance, PTSD and TBI Support, Team Semper Fi, and America’s Fund: a self-funded program administered by the Semper Fi Fund that currently assists those service members with catastrophic injuries in intensive care units at our nation’s military hospitals, regardless of what military branch they serve in.”
