With the same inherent persistence and drive that he now demonstrates to achieve results for our clients, Jesse went out on his own, spreading his wings and opening his own company. SoCal VA Homes Founder Peter & Jesse stayed in communication. And as Peter entered his early 60s, retiring his licenses, Jesse became the obvious choice to propel the company traditions & culture forward!

Now working in the mortgage and real estate industry for over fifteen years, Jesse Lawler has dedicated his career to serving those who serve our country. His mortgage career began exclusively working with active-duty service members, Veterans, and their families, helping them navigate using their VA home loans and successfully purchasing their homes.

Jesse understands from significant experience that the VA loan is not just another mortgage product. It is a hard-earned benefit that deserves specialized knowledge and the utmost respect.

Although Jesse did not personally serve in the military, he has spent much of his career supporting the men and women who do. He considers helping military families purchase their first or second home - a small but meaningful way to give back to those who sacrifice so much for our country. His deep appreciation for our armed forces fuels his commitment to excellence and service in every transaction.

Prior to taking the helm of SoCal VA Homes, Jesse closed over $1 billion in loan volume throughout his career and has built his business 100% by referral; from past clients, real estate agents, and trusted partners.

In addition to specializing in VA purchase loans, IRRRLs & VA Cash-Out Refinances, Jesse has extensive experience with first-time homebuyers, self-employed borrowers, and complex financing scenarios. He holds Broker licenses in California and Idaho and maintains NMLS licenses in CA, AZ, TX, HI, NC, NV, SC, TN, UT, OR, and WA.
